  • Hyundai Motor and NaaS Technology Collaborate to Develop EV Charging System in China (energyportal.eu) --> Hyundai Motor has partnered with Chinese firm NaaS Technology to create an electric vehicle (EV) charging system specifically designed for Chinese customers. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding to co-develop an EV charging system and related infrastructure for Chinese drivers.NaaS Technology, established in 2019, possesses data on approximately 55,000 EV charging stations and 400,000 chargers in China, including their locations. This collaboration aims to leverage NaaS’s extensive knowledge in the field to develop a comprehensive charging solution.
  • Tesla lawsuit claims automaker infringed on EV charging patents - Top Class Actions --> Tesla infringed on two patents to develop charging station technology for its electric vehicles, a new lawsuit alleges. Plaintiff Graphite Charging Co. LLC filed the patent infringement lawsuit against Tesla Inc. in a Texas federal court, alleging violations of two of its patents, U.S. Patent Nos—8,103,391 and 8,291,243, which relate to electric vehicle charging systems. According to the lawsuit, Tesla ripped off the patents, which former employees of IBM Corp. filed, through its charging stations, electric vehicles and app.
