  • PennDOT gets $5M in new Federal money to repair/replace dozens of EV charging stations - Tri-State Alert (tristatealert.com) --> Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Secretary Mike Carroll today announced that dozens of existing electric vehicle (EV) charging sites will be repaired or replaced through a new, $5 million federal investment from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). With continued Commonwealth investments combined with federal infrastructure programs, the Shapiro Administration is continuing its work to address climate change, grow the Commonwealth’s economy and ensure that Pennsylvania is ready for the next generation of transportation, one that will be cleaner, safer, more affordable, and more reliable than ever before.
