• CATL Working With Tesla on Fast-Charging Cells, Supplying Nevada - Bloomberg --> Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. is working on faster charging batteries for Tesla Inc. as Elon Musk’s automaker seeks to defend its market share and roll out an electric car for under $25,000.

• NYCEDC Selects Wildflower to Develop the Largest Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station in New York City near JFK Airport | NYCEDC --> New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) today announced the selection of Wildflower, a New York City-based developer that creates urban infrastructure for sustainability, to build the largest publicly accessible electric vehicle charging station in New York City. The development will include an initial 65 EV-ready charging stations, including 12 rapid charging stations, available 24/7 and can expand over time to support other vehicles, including electric trucks, especially as the demand for these sites grows. An “EV ready” site means it will be capable of easily supporting additional electric vehicle charging stations. The project is anticipated to complete construction in 2025.

• BP readies EV charging at Texas HQ - Just Auto (just-auto.com) --> BP is about to open a new EV charging site at its US headquarters in Houston, Texas. The station would be the first BP Pulse branded ‘gigahub’ in the US and opens to the public in April, with 24 high-speed Tritium 150kW DC fast chargers.

• First non-Tesla branded V4 Superchargers are being deployed | Electrek --> Following Tesla’s foray as a charger hardware supplier, the first non-Tesla-branded V4 Supercharger stations are now being deployed.

• Hyundai to build 500 ultra-fast EV chargers by next year | The DONG-A ILBO (donga.com) --> On Sunday, Hyundai Motor Group announced its plans to expand its electric vehicle high-speed charging service, known as 'E-pit,' to 500 units by next year. Since its inception in April 2021, 286 units have been established and are currently operational across 54 locations nationwide.

• BYD taps US chipmaker NVIDIA to power its next-gen EV fleet (electrek.co) --> US chip-making giant NVIDIA is expanding ties with several Chinese automakers, including BYD, as the race for the best software and features heats up. BYD will use NVIDIA’s Drive Thor to power its next-gen EV fleet.
  

• Fleet Management Provider Samsara Unveils EV Management Tools (aol.com)--> Fleet management solutions provider Samsara has unveiled a new suite of tools to help fleets optimize electric vehicles (EVs).

• Department of Transportation | Kahului EV charging station opens Feb. 28 (hawaii.gov) --> The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) dedicated the first electric vehicle charging station in Hawai‘i funded by the federal National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program Wednesday, Feb. 28. The EV charging station at the Kahului Park & Ride on Maui consists of four 150 kW DC fast chargers with Combined Charging System (CCS) and CHArge de MOve (CHAdeMO) ports. The station, along Kuihelani Highway (Route 380), opened to the public at noon following the dedication.
